Learning

Our primary goal is to have every student read and comprehend what they are reading by the time they enter kindergarten. With this being our number one goal we listened to the experts.

The National Reading Panel began a study in 1997 and in 2000. The Panel released its findings, stating that there are five essential components that must be taught in an effective reading program: phonemic awareness, phonics, reading fluency, vocabulary development, and reading comprehension.  That’s why we combined both phonics and whole language, while still promoting project based learning.

We welcome you  to come in for a tour and hear more about our proprietary system that can only be found at Young Minds in Motion.
